Used Car Owner Gets New Transmission Installed at Ralph’s Transmission

Kevin and his wife, Joetta, recently bought a used 2016 Hyundai Elantra from a used car dealership. The vehicle had well over 100,000 miles on it, so they knew it wasn’t perfect. However, they still expected things to be running well enough. The car worked great for a couple months, but then Kevin noticed that it wasn’t shifting properly. Eventually, it wouldn’t shift into forward gear at all. The check engine light also came on.

The road test also showed that the vehicle wasn’t shifting into forward gears correctly. It was basically dead in the water. The transmission was beyond repairing or rebuilding, so the best recommendation was to replace it.
