A Reminder About Free Towing Services at Ralph’s Transmission

We would like to take this opportunity remind our customers that Ralph’s Transmission does offer free towing services within 30 miles of our downtown Modesto shop. If you are live nearby and are able to bring your vehicle to us, please do. If you need to have your vehicle picked up and are within geographic range, just call us at 209.526.1909 and we will make the necessary arrangements. If you live just outside of the 30-mile radius or have other special circumstances you are dealing with, please give us a call and we will do our best to help you out.

Here are a few scenarios where you’ll want to take advantage of the free towing services at Ralph’s Transmission:

Vehicle Won’t Run

Serious transmission issues can make your vehicle unsafe to drive, and in some cases, it won’t run at all. In this situation, you will definitely want to call Ralph’s Transmission to arrange a free tow. We will find a day and time that works best to bring your vehicle into our shop for a thorough transmission inspection and repairs. Just remember that our towing services are not for emergency roadside assistance—only for transporting your vehicle to and from our shop for repairs and maintenance.

Busy Schedule

We understand a lot people have very busy schedules. They need to be at work during the hours Ralph’s Transmission is open or they have other commitments and limitations that prevent them from being able to bring their vehicles in. Please know that you can always call and arrange an after-hours drop off or pick up of your vehicle. If you need a tow, however, we will work with you to make it happen.

Health Concerns

Things have definitely changed because of COVID-19. If you have tested positive, are feeling sick or are voluntarily self-quarantining because you are in a high-risk group, please stay home and give us a call. Ralph’s Transmission will make special arrangements to pick up and drop off your vehicle while handling all the other details over the phone and through emails.
