Ralph’s Transmission is Central Valley Strong!
Ralph’s Transmission has been in the same location in Downtown Modesto (just up 9th Street a few blocks from the Modesto Arch) since 1969. We celebrated our 50th anniversary just last year. Even though 2020 has thrown us all some curve balls, our transmission shop is still here to serve the transmission repair and maintenance needs of our Central Valley friends and neighbors.
Building Loyalty through Quality
Granted, our shop may look a little different now than it did over five decades ago. The ownership has changed since those days, as well. However, we have always been—and always will be—a family-owned and operated business with strong ties to the local community. We’re proud to be based in Modesto and we have loyal customers throughout the Central Valley. We get people coming in from Stockton, Tracy, Merced, Los Banos, Oakdale and just about anywhere in between. We even have a number of regular customers from as far as the East Bay and Sacramento. People know they can count on the team at Ralph’s Transmission to provide quality customer service and exceptional automotive repairs.
The Central Valley’s Transmission Specialists
There is also a reason we have “Transmission” in our name. That’s because we are transmission and drivetrain specialists. We don’t do oil changes and tire rotations. We don’t work on engines, but we do have relationships with other shops in the area that we will gladly refer you to. When it comes to transmissions, however, Ralph’s Transmission is the shop to know. Our technicians specialize in transmission repairs and maintenance. Every custom transmission rebuild we perform is done right in our service bay by trained rebuild experts, and each transmission rebuild is backed by our industry-leading 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty. In fact, all work we do in our shop is protected by strong warranty programs!
Keeping Central Valley Strong
2020 has been a trying year for people throughout the world and we’ve felt the impact here in the Central Valley. Ralph’s Transmission even decided to shut down for a few weeks when things were really bad in California, but we opened back up as soon as we could because we knew how much our customers needed us. People depend on their cars, trucks, SUVs and work vehicles each and every day. When something goes wrong with your transmission, you need to have a local shop that you can count on to be there and provide maintenance or repair services.
If you have transmission problems or questions, you can call Ralph’s Transmission any time at 209-526-1909 or schedule your service appointment online.
