WE LOVE TRUCKS AT RALPH’S TRANSMISSION!
At Ralph’s Transmission, we work on vehicles of many different shapes and sizes. Manual, automatic, foreign, domestic, cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, service vehicles—you name it! We love working on all types of transmissions and helping our customers get back on the road quickly and safely after transmission repairs or maintenance services.
We have to admit, however, that perhaps our favorite vehicles to work on are pickup trucks, especially domestic models. Our technicians’ eyes tend to light up when we see a beefy Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado, Dodge Ram or GMC Sierra roll through the doors of the shop. There’s just something about these big American trucks that speaks to our blue collar way of life. The Central Valley is known for its agriculture and hard-working people, so we love our rugged trucks that tap into this same spirit.
Of course, today’s pickup trucks are about a lot more than grit and grease. They are extremely advanced. They are built with comfort, performance, and even reduced emissions in mind. Then, some of the technology is truly out of this world. That makes the transmission, drivetrain and diagnostics system more sophisticated. You need a modern transmission expert to keep these impressive components properly maintained.
We also get a lot of older trucks and SUVs in the Ralph’s Transmission shop because most of these vehicles are built to stand the test of time. Unfortunately, not all transmissions stand up to so much work. A good majority of vehicles we work on are from the 1990s and early 2000s. Sometimes they need a transmission rebuild or significant repairs. Other times, just regular tune-ups are all they need to keep on chugging. Whatever transmission services you need for your modern, not-so-modern or even classic truck, SUV or van, Ralph’s Transmission is here to help.
We understand a lot of truck owners use their vehicles for work. From ranchers, farmers and landscapers to utility workers, service providers and mobile businesses, a good work truck is hard to replace. You want to take care of it and keep it working for you. Ralph’s Transmission offers transmission maintenance programs and repair services for your work vehicles—or your entire fleet of vehicles!
