Customer Gets Chevy Diesel Truck Inspected at Ralph’s Transmission

Ralph's Transmission billboard "We Love Trucks."A customer who goes by the nickname “Sarge” visited the Ralph’s Transmission shop recently. He drives a 2006 Chevy 2500 Duramax diesel truck with over 180,000 miles on it. He was getting ready for a long haul, so he wanted to have his truck’s transmission checked out by our expert technicians to make sure everything was working properly.

“Customer service at its best!” Sarge writes in his Yelp review. “After reading a few reviews on Yelp, and talking to a few friends, the positive reviews were accurate. I called to set-up an appointment. The young lady I talked to on the phone was very professional and informative. The day I dropped it off, I spoke with Yvette, who gave me a complete rundown of the process and even offered to call an Uber or Lyft for my return home. I left feeling that I had made the right choice for service on my truck.”

Customer service is always our top priority at Ralph’s Transmission. We understand you live busy lives and dealing with transmission maintenance or repairs isn’t your favorite way to spend the day. We aim to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. We can arrange a free tow to our shop if you are located near Modesto. We offer free initial inspection, road testing and diagnostic services to determine the problem(s) before recommending services. We are also happy to help arrange for a ride to get you to work or home while work is being done at our shop.

After the initial road test and inspection on Sarge’s truck, everything was looking healthy and running normally. He still wanted us to perform a standard transmission service just to be safe.

“Later that morning, I received a call to let me know that everything was running good,” Sarge adds. “I wanted a more thorough search to make sure my truck was ready for a long haul. Yvette offered an additional service to drop the transmission pan and give a thorough inspection to include replacing filters, gasket and other items needed. The price for parts/labor was very reasonable, so I asked for the service to be done. Later that evening, I received the call that truck was ready and everything looked great. The three ladies at the counter did an excellent job in making me feel welcomed. Appreciate everyone at Ralph’s Transmission. Keep up the good work!”

Thank you, Sarge, for putting your trust in the Ralph’s Transmission team and we’re glad to hear you were pleased with your customer service experience. We’re always here to help if you ever need us. We love working on big old trucks like yours!
