Working Around Your Schedule

We understand nobody really wants to deal with transmission repairs or maintenance. It can be a pain to take time out of your day to bring your vehicle into the shop for whatever transmission services you need. This is why we aim to make the process as convenient as possible for you. We can work around your busy schedule and find a solution that works for you.

Our regular business hours at Ralph’s Transmission are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (closed on some holidays). You are always welcome to stop by the office and we will do our best to get your vehicle in the shop as soon as possible. We can generally provide same-day service, whether you need standard transmission maintenance or you need us to perform a free inspection to figure out the problem. Major transmission repairs or rebuilds may take a little longer, and we will let you know the time expectancy for any parts orders and specific transmission services.

If you cannot get here during our normal business hours, we have a 24-hour answering service. We can make special arrangements for after-hours and weekend vehicle drop-offs and pick-ups. Just let us know your availability and we’ll figure out the best solution.

One of our service advisors will call you back quickly to set up a day and time for you to bring in your vehicle. Having an appointment booked in advance will help ensure we can get your vehicle in the shop once it is dropped off.

If your vehicle is not running safely, please let us know. We will be happy to arrange a tow truck. If you live within 30 miles of our Modesto shop, towing is completely free. If you live further away and don’t have AAA, we will make sure to get you the best discounted price using our network of service providers.

Shuttles and Rideshare Services

Last but not least, we understand you may have to be somewhere else while your vehicle is being worked on at Ralph’s Transmission. This is why we offer free shuttle and rideshare services to get you to and from wherever you need to go.

We want everything about your experience at Ralph’s Transmission to be as stress-free and convenient as possible. Dealing with transmission issues can be annoying, so we do whatever we can to make it easy on you.
