Ford Flex Owner Gets Throttle Body Replaced at Ralph’s Transmission
Milan was dealing with multiple transmission and drivetrain problems in his 2015 Ford Flex. It had been leaking transmission fluid. Then ultimately, the check engine light came on and the vehicle was struggling to move forward at times. He knew it was time to have it looked at by a local transmission repair expert, so he called Ralph’s Transmission in Modesto to make an appointment.
He worked with Brianna Jauregui, one of our top service advisors. She walked Milan through the process of getting the vehicle inspected and road tested to determine the source of the problems. Transmission fluid was indeed leaking from the driver side front axle. The fluid level was low, but the fluid itself was clean. This meant it was not likely a transmission issue. Further inspection revealed damage to the throttle body and a worn left axle seal that needed to be replaced.
Milan approved the repair recommendation, which was to replace the damaged throttle body and axle seal, along with servicing the transmission to refill the transmission fluid. We were able to take care of all this and get Milan’s Ford back to him the following day. He was happy to get safely back on the road in his Flex and was nice enough to write this glowing review for Brianna.
“Bree has the most amazing customer service‼️” Milan writes. “I was clear on the process and I felt like I was part of the team in an orientation‼️ PROMOTE NOW‼️ Thanks Bree.”
Thank you Milan for putting your trust in Ralph’s Transmission to take care of this throttle body repair and for taking the time to write a customer review.
