BRIANNA JAUREGUI JOINS THE RALPH’S TRANSMISSION FAMILY

Ralph’s Transmission has always been a family business. These days, the Jauregui family is proud to own and manage this downtown Modesto transmission shop. Mario, Maria and Yvette have put in a ton of effort to renovate the facility and restore the shop’s commitment to quality that has been alive and well since 1969.

Family Matters

And now, the next generation is getting involved in the family business. Brianna Jauregui is the daughter of Mario and Maria—the eldest of their six children. She recently joined the Ralph’s Transmission team as Parts Manager. Brianna is often found helping out with the customer service up front in the office and pitching in wherever she’s needed, but her primary duty is overseeing the ordering of parts. That means doing research to find matching parts for each vehicle being worked on and getting them purchased and delivered to the shop as quickly as possible. It also involves making sure the shop always has an adequate stock of standard parts on hand for transmission rebuilds, repairs and reassembly.

Brianna is perfectly suited for this job because she has a positive attitude and a great attention to detail. She also gets to put her strong negotiating skills to the test when trying to get the best possible prices for the parts being ordered. Brianna has really made a difference at the shop, and more importantly, it’s fun having another family member around.

More About Brianna

Brianna recently graduated from the University of San Francisco, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish. Being bilingual also helps a lot in dealing with customers, vendors and shop technicians. Brianna views working at Ralph’s Transmission as a great learning opportunity.

“I’m able to see how my parents run a successful business and interact with customers,” she says. “I really like the simplicity of the systems and processes they’ve created. The shop runs very efficiently and I do my part to get the necessary parts here in a timely manner.”

In her free time, Brianna enjoys spending time with family and friends throughout the Modesto area. She was an avid soccer player throughout high school, so she likes any chance to get outside and be active.
