Customer Tries to Give 6-Star Yelp Review of Ralph’s Transmission!

A customer going by the initials D.R. recently posted a review of Ralph’s Transmission on Yelp. He came to our shop from Waterford and was in need of a standard transmission service for his 2005 Chevy Silverado. The truck had recently gone over 75,000 miles and D.R. knew it was due for some routine transmission maintenance. He called our shop and talked to one of our service advisors to get a price quote. He felt satisfied with the answers he received, so he arranged to bring his truck in for service.

“Great customer service and excellent pricing,” D.R. writes in his review. “Recently I took my vehicle in for a transmission service and I’ve found a new shop to take my vehicles to.”

As part of every service we perform at Ralph’s Transmission, our technicians ran diagnostic tests and completed a detailed external transmission inspection on D.R.’s truck. These are always the first steps for any vehicle that comes into the shop. If there is a potential problem, our guys will identify it. If there isn’t anything to be concerned about, then we’re happy to give our customers a little extra peace of mind knowing that everything is in good order.

The transmission inspection on D.R.’s Silverado revealed no significant issues. The transmission fluid level was a little high and the truck was definitely due for a standard transmission service, so we went ahead and completed that maintenance. The transmission pan was removed and cleaned. The transmission filter and transmission pan gasket were replaced and new transmission fluid was added. We then performed a road test and lift check to make sure the truck was running smoothly before getting D.R. back on the road.
