What is a Transmission Rebuild?

This warranty applies specifically to transmission rebuilds, which is one of our specialty services at Ralph’s Transmission. In many cases, we recommend a full transmission rebuild rather than replacing it or making repairs that only address part of the internal damage. Usually, when one component in a transmission system fails, it affects other components. Internal damage quickly compounds. You may be able to replace the most damaged part and get the transmission running decently for awhile, but those other weakened components can come back to haunt you later as they eventually give out and fail.

A transmission rebuild at Ralph’s Transmission involves breaking down the transmission by every single nut and bolt. Every component is thoroughly inspected and tested. If it is still in good shape, it will be professionally cleaned and reinstalled. Any damaged or worn components will be replaced with new ones. The entire transmission is rebuilt from the ground up with a goal of getting it running just like new again. This detailed process is what allows us to offer such a great warranty on rebuilt transmissions.
