Naturally, we get a lot of questions about our warranty program from customers. We wanted to do a little Q&A session here to address some of the most frequently asked questions.
What Services Are Eligible for this Warranty?
Almost all repair and maintenance services performed at Ralph’s Transmission—as well as new and refurbished transmission parts we use—will be backed by some sort of warranty. Parts come with manufacturer warranties. Our services come with different warranties based on the particular services received. The 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty applies to full custom transmission rebuilds. Rebuilding transmissions is one of our specialties at Ralph’s Transmission.
How Do I Register for My Warranty?
If you get your vehicle’s transmission rebuilt in our shop, it will automatically be backed by this industry-leading warranty program. Our service staff will walk you through the warranty details and provide you with all the necessary paperwork. If you have any specific questions beyond these FAQs, feel free to ask your service advisor.
How Long Does the Warranty Last?
The Ralph’s Transmission warranty is good for up to 3 years (36 months) or 100,000 miles of driving—whichever comes first—from the time when your transmission rebuild is completed.
What Does the Warranty Cover?
Transmission rebuilds are often recommended because they essentially get your vehicle’s transmission running like new again. All damaged or worn parts are replaced. All healthy parts are professionally cleaned and reinstalled. If you experience any complications or problems with your rebuilt transmission, you can bring it back to Ralph’s Transmission and we’ll take care of it. If it’s a problem not related to the transmission, then obviously it won’t be covered by this warranty. The warranty applies specifically to the rebuilt transmission.
How Do I Request Warrantied Repairs?
Ralph’s Transmission is always just a phone call away. If you need your vehicle towed to the shop, just let us know and we’ll arrange it. Once here, our transmission technicians will perform a thorough inspection and road test to figure out the issue and take care of the necessary repairs.
