Free Towing and Shuttle Services

If your vehicle isn’t running because of a transmission problem, just give Ralph’s Transmission a call and let us make the arrangements. If you live within 30 miles of our shop in downtown Modesto, we will tow your vehicle to the shop for free. Sometimes we’ll even extend that range a little, so it never hurts to ask. Free towing is just one way we aim to help you out when you are in a bad situation.

Whether your vehicle is towed to Ralph’s Transmission or you drop it off, we can also help arrange rides to your home or work. If one of our staff is available to shuttle you across town, they will. Otherwise, we can set up an Uber or taxi for you, so you can get where you need to go while your car, truck or SUV is being worked on by our transmission repair team.

Free Inspections and Estimates

It’s also important to note that all initial transmission inspections and diagnostic testing at Ralph’s Transmission are done at no charge. Our team of technicians will inspect the vehicle to determine what the problem is. Then, one of our service advisors will walk you through the findings, let you know what repairs or maintenance services are recommended and discuss what the estimated repair costs will be.

If the problems found aren’t related to the transmission or drivetrain system, we will gladly refer you to another general auto repair shop in town that we trust. Last but not least, if you need help paying for your repairs, we can help with special financing programs.
