CHEVY SILVERADO OWNER GETS CLUTCH REPAIRED AT RALPH’S TRANSMISSION
Kathy owns a 1991 Chevrolet Silverado with over 200,000 miles on it. Of course, she loves her truck and wants to keep it running well. Recently, she began having problems with her clutch. Kathy was having trouble shifting between gears. Eventually, 4th gear and reverse were the only ones working and she also noticed a strong burning smell. She knew it was time for a proper inspection and repairs, so she had her Silverado towed into Ralph’s Transmission in downtown Modesto.
“I highly appreciate the customer service that I received from the very friendly staff at Ralph’s Transmission,” Kathy says in her online review. “They towed my vehicle and even offered a ride to collect my vehicle after repairs were completed.”
We aim to take care of our customers and make the repair process go as smoothly as possible. Whether that’s offering free local towing or arranging rides to and from the shop, our service team makes sure our customers are always taken care of.
After our transmission technicians inspected Kathy’s Silverado and ran diagnostic tests, problems were found within the clutch system. The hydraulic fluid was leaking from the master cylinder. Fortunately, her transmission was fine, so the clutch repairs were fairly routine. Ralph’s Transmission replaced her clutch master and slave cylinders. A road test were performed to make sure everything was operating properly and then Kathy was able to get back out on the road in her beloved pickup truck.
“They provided a prompt diagnosis and updated me while repairs were being done,” Kathy adds. “The cost of repair was very reasonable… Thank you Ralph’s.”
Thank you Kathy for trusting your Silverado with the Ralph’s Transmission team. We love working on trucks!
