CUSTOMER FEELS GOOD KNOWING HIS REBUILT TRANSMISSION IS BACKED BY THE RALPH’S TRANSMISSION WARRANTY
Josh knew something was wrong with his Nissan Armada, when the gears were slipping at low speeds and the RPMs would suddenly go way up. His check engine light was also on to let him know there was a significant problem that needed professional attention. Josh reached out to Ralph’s Transmission for help, and we were happy to check out his vehicle’s transmission.
First, we performed a detailed external inspection of the transmission and our technicians ran diagnostics. The power train control module showed an error code. The Ralph’s Transmission team also noticed that the transmission fluid was low and the fluid was discolored. It tested positive for glycol (antifreeze), which is a bad sign. Removal and the transmission and performance of a complete internal inspection were recommended to the customer.
After further inspection, the forward clutches were damaged and there was significant water in the transmission. A full custom transmission rebuild was required. The Ralph’s Transmission rebuild specialists then took the transmission and disassembled it completely. Each component was inspected and cleaned, while all damaged parts were replaced. The transmission was then rebuilt from the ground up and thoroughly tested. A final road test was performed once the transmission was reinstalled to make sure it was running properly.
Josh was pleased with the quick turnaround for such a major transmission repair, and he also felt good knowing that the rebuilt transmission was backed by our industry-leading 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty.
“This shop provided the best customer service that I have experienced from any shop that I have been to in the past 10 years,” Josh says in his online review. “Their three-year warranty alone on their transmissions is enough to say that they know what they’re doing. They want you to stay safe on the road and to not have to come back after 1 year or 12,000 miles, which is the most common warranty that other shops provide.”
We are so glad that Josh was pleased with his service experience at Ralph’s Transmission. We take our commitment to quality very seriously. That means providing excellent transmission repairs and rebuilds while also treating our customers the way they deserve to be treated.
“If you are looking for a friendly, family-owned shop that delivers exceptional service, you will find it at Ralph’s Transmission!” Josh adds.
