AT RALPH’S TRANSMISSION, WE TREAT YOU LIKE PART OF THE FAMILY
Frank’s Chevrolet Avalanche was just not working right at all. The vehicle would barely accelerate and would only get up to 5-10 MPH at most. Something was definitely wrong and he knew he had to call a transmission expert. That’s why he turned to Ralph’s Transmission in Modesto, and we were happy to help him out.
“Great service! Great family!” Frank says in his online review of Ralph’s. “Krista, Yvette and Mario are in the front office. They will answer all your questions and walk you through your transmission service. No face smiles here, they really enjoy what they do.”
We definitely try to create a friendly family-style atmosphere at Ralph’s Transmission. It has been a local family-owned business since it opened in 1969. Putting our customers first is what we do. And it turns out that Frank’s Chevy needed a lot of extra care. To put it kindly, his transmission was shot. After our technicians performed a full diagnostic review and thorough internal inspection, multiple problems were found. The torque converter, low roller clutch and several different solenoids were just some of the faulty components. A lot of parts needed to be replaced and a full custom rebuild was recommended.
“Luckily, Mario pointed out that my vehicle had other transmission deficiencies that needed immediate attention,” Frank adds. “It cost me an additional amount, BUT saved me over a thousand dollars in the long run. Thanks!”
The transmission rebuild specialists at Ralph’s Transmission dismantled the entire transmission. The good parts were cleaned and reinstalled while all the bad components were replaced with new or refurbished parts. We rebuilt the transmission from scratch and then tested it completely to make sure it was running like new again. Frank can now rest assured because the rebuilt transmission is covered by our 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty. If anything else goes wrong, he can always bring it right back into our shop and we’ll take care of the issue right away.
