Coronavirus Safety Measures Being Taken at Ralph’s Transmission

COVID-19 (coronavirus) has affected the daily lives of everyone in the world. As local business owners, it is our responsibility to do our part to help minimize the spread of this highly infectious virus. We’re already seeing strict containment measures being taken in the Bay Area and it may not be long before Central Valley cities and counties start increasing their quarantine restrictions.

As of this post (March 17, 2020), Ralph’s Transmission remains open to provide customers with transmission repair and maintenance services. If our hours are reduced or anything about the situation changes, we’ll do our best to keep customers up-to-date here on our blog and on social media. Our entire team is ready and standing by to support in whatever way we can.

At the Ralph’s Transmission shop, we have adopted additional safety and sanitization measures to do our part to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. We are following expert recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as our local health officials in Modesto and Stanislaus County.

If you are feeling sick or showing any symptoms of the virus, we ask you please to not come into our shop for service. Call us at 209.526.1909 and we’ll do our best to find a workable solution. On this same note, we are making sure any of our employees who feel sick to stay at home, as well.

Additional precautions that we are taking include the following steps:

  • Sanitizing all vehicles with disinfectant spray as they enter and leave the shop
  • Sanitizing keys and vehicles before and after repair
  • Sanitizing all building surfaces following each customer visit
  • All employees washing hands as often as possible
  • Not extending complimentary rideshares to customers (until further notice)
  • Adhering to all CDC guidelines on employee health and wellness

The health and wellbeing of our customers and our employees are our top priorities with the threat of COVID-19 out there. We are all doing the best we can in a tough, unprecedented situation. If everyone can do their parts, we can get through this together.

For any questions regarding this matter, please contact Yvette at 209.526.1909.
