CHEVY OWNER IMPRESSED BY RALPH’S TRANSMISSION TEAM
Philip was on his way home from Oregon when his 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche began acting strange. It was having trouble shifting between 2nd and 3rd gears, and the vehicle was struggling to get faster than 40-45 MPH. Also, he noticed a transmission line had busted and was leaking transmission fluid pretty bad. Philip normally only takes his cars to the dealership for repairs, but he decided this time to go to a trusted Central Valley transmission specialist. He brought his Avalanche to Ralph’s Transmission in Modesto, and he was glad he made that decision.
“Great customer service and very friendly!” Philips says in his online review. “The staff there is very professional and communicate very well. The gentleman, Mario [Jauregui, owner], sat me down and explained everything to my satisfaction. Assured me I was in good hands. They broke down and explained every price point and my options.”
This kind of communication is very important to the team at Ralph’s Transmission. We want to take the time to educate our customers and walk them through everything. This way, they can make more informed decisions when it comes to their transmission repairs. We make sure all details are covered and explained thoroughly before you authorize any repair work to be done.
In Philip’s case, the 3/4 clutch was completely damaged beyond repair and that had caused even further internal damage within the transmission. The best recommendation was a full custom transmission rebuild, which is backed by the Ralph’s Transmission 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty. Philip’s transmission was rebuilt from the ground up and road tested to make sure it was running like new again.
The transmission line leak was repaired. There was a faulty connection at the transmission cooler. In addition, the rear main engine seal, rear main engine seal cover gasket and oxygen sensor were replaced.
“I looked into the service bay and was impressed by the cleanliness and the way everything was in its place!” Philip adds. “I’ve always taken my vehicles to the dealer for service, so I decided to give Ralph’s Transmission a try and so far they have exceeded my expectations.”
We especially appreciate Philip’s mention of the shop’s cleanliness. This is very important to us to have a clean, organized and smooth-running repair facility where the team is working together. Everyone knows their roles, and all the parts and equipment are put back where they should be when not in use.
“Thanks to all who work there,” Philip concludes. “Great job. It shows they real care about customer satisfaction!!!”
