GMC Yukon Owner Gets Transmission Rebuilt at Ralph’s Transmission

A man with soft, white gloves adjusts components in a vehicle.Lalo and Jessica own a 2001 GMC Yukon with over 230,000 miles. Recently, the vehicle stopped moving and was leaking a significant amount of fluid. There were many issues that needed to be resolved, so they brought their SUV to Ralph’s Transmission.

“This is the second time for us using Ralph’s transmission for the same car,” Lalo says. The first time we needed our transmission rebuilt they did it in 2 days. They guaranteed us 3 years. Our truck lasted 8 years before I messed up the truck because the drive line went out and I ran the truck so it messed up the transmission.”

Unfortunately, the rear driveline U-joint broke and damaged the extension housing and case on the transmission. This caused multiple fluid leaks, as well. Lalo continued to drive the vehicle despite these problems and that led to more issues with the transmission, exhaust system and driveline that needed to be repaired.

Through diagnostic testing, road testing and thorough inspection, the technicians at Ralph’s Transmission were able to identify all the damage. The transmission needed to be completely rebuilt again and the transmission cooler required a full flush. One of the transmission mounts needed to be replaced, along with the rear main engine seal and several other seals that were damaged and leaking. The broken U-joint and multiple other driveline components also needed to be repaired. There were a lot of issues to resolve, but our team was up to the task for everything related to the transmission and drivetrain.

“We just got it rebuilt and this time it took 3 days but it’s because of the how messed up my driveline was,” Lalo adds. “I know for a fact my truck will give me another 8 years. The staff is very respectful and all are very educated at knowing what needs to be done. They even had are car towed at their own expense. This is the only place I would ever trust for my truck to go. They are the best very good at what they do and you could feel that it’s a family friendly environment. We just love this place. They also do financing which is great! I highly recommend this place any day. Thanks Ralph’s. You are all amazing. Continue being that way. We need good reliable and honest people in the world.”

Thank you Lalo and Jessica for putting your trust in the Ralph’s Transmission team once again. If you experience further transmission issue, just remember the 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty.
