ACURA OWNER TREATED RIGHT AT RALPH’S TRANSMISSION

Ryan noticed that his 2002 Acura TL wasn’t shifting correctly as he was driving on the freeway and the check engine light had come on. Later, he saw that there was a transmission fluid leak, as well. He decided to bring his car into Ralph’s Transmission in Modesto for an expert inspection and repairs. Ryan recently wrote a review on our Facebook page expressing his gratitude.
“Ralph’s is the place you want to go if you want to be treated right and deal with honest people,” Ryan writes. “I had blown out my transmission on my Acura. They got my car into the shop same day. They were very informative and clear on what the cost and next steps would be.”
After inspection by the Ralph’s Transmission technicians, it was determined that Ryan’s torque converter had completely failed and that led to additional internal damage within the transmission. The recommendation was to have the torque converter replaced and have the transmission completely rebuilt so that everything would be running like new again. The rebuilt transmission would also be backed fully by the Ralph’s Transmission 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty.
“They kept me well informed every step of the way,” Ryan adds. “While they had my transmission out, they had noticed that my motor and transmission mounts were shot and also gave me a very well priced quote for the additional work. I have to say they did an outstanding job on my car.”
At Ralph’s Transmission, we’re always looking out for the best interests of our customers. Oftentimes, our technicians will find additional damage beyond the transmission. Some things we may be able to fix in-house and we will always provide a price quote before any additional work is done. However, for some services not related to the transmission or drivetrain system, we may provide our findings and then a referral to another shop that can handle the work. In Ryan’s case, fixing the mounts was something we could take care of for him in addition to the transmission rebuild.
“I have to say they did an outstanding job on my car,” Ryan concludes. “I 100% recommend Ralph’s to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable price. Plus a 3 Year, 100,000 Mile warranty on parts and labor done on the transmission, you can’t go wrong.”
Thank you, Ryan, for sharing your story.
