RALPH’S TRANSMISSION HELPS CUSTOMER WITH TRANSMISSION REBUILD

Lalo and Jessica knew something was off with their 2001 GMC Yukon. The transmission was definitely acting strange. The vehicle wasn’t quite shifting from gear to gear correctly and it had the tendency to jump forward a little bit when in reverse. Fortunately, Lalo and Jessica knew exactly where to take their GMC.

They have come to Ralph’s Transmission in the past for various transmission services, so they knew our expertise could be trusted. “It was the first place we thought about when our transmission started acting up,” say Lalo and Jessica in their recent online review. “Took it in and the same day it was done.”

After an external inspection and diagnostics, some minor issues such as overfilled transmission fluid were detected. However, it wasn’t until the transmission was removed and a full internal inspection was performed that the major issue was uncovered. It turns out the snap ring groove in the input drum had exploded and led to significant damage within the transmission.

The technicians at Ralph’s Transmission recommended a full custom transmission rebuild. Each component was taken apart. Good parts were properly cleaned and reinstalled. New parts were brought into replace the damaged ones. Once the whole transmission was back together, further diagnostics were run. Then a final road test confirmed it was running like new again. This transmission got the Ralph’s Transmission stamp of approval, meaning it is backed by our 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty.

“We thought that was awesome,” added Lalo and Jessica. “Since then we took a couple of trips to L.A. and the mountains and our GMC ran like a champ. And we also have recommended a friend, and he also had his transmission fixed. So it’s the place to be if your transmission is acting up.”

Ralph’s Transmission was able to help out Lalo and Jessica, getting them back on the road quickly and safely. If you have any transmission problems or questions about your transmission, contact the experts at Ralph’s Transmission at 209.526.1909.
