5 STARS NOT ENOUGH FOR THIS RALPH’S TRANSMISSION REBUILD CUSTOMER!

Veronica could tell something wasn’t right with her Mercury Mountaineer. The overdrive light was blinking. The car wasn’t accelerating well, the engine revved loudly and the vehicle would jerk awkwardly while driving in low gears. That’s when she decided it was time to bring it in to Ralph’s Transmission in downtown Modesto.

We performed a full external inspection of the transmission and ran diagnostics. Several fault codes came up within the Powertrain Control Module. Our technicians also noticed that, while the transmission fluid was at proper levels, the fluid itself was burnt. A road test showed a harsh grinding noise coming from under the engine compartment, as well.

Once the transmission was removed from the vehicle, we were able to perform further internal inspections. There were many issues, but most notable was the broken intermediate band and servo. A custom transmission rebuild was recommended and Veronica authorized the service. Our transmission rebuild specialists inspected and cleaned every part that was still in good shape. Then, faulty parts were replaced with new ones. The transmission was rebuilt from the ground up and installed back into the Mountaineer for further road testing and diagnostics. The car was ready to get back on the road and Veronica felt safe knowing that the rebuild is backed by our 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty.

“If I could rate more than a 5 I would,” Veronica says in her recent online review of Ralph’s Transmission. “Mario and his team are amazing. Very friendly and make you feel as if you have known them forever. It’s a very honest, hard-working and knowledgeable team.”

It turns out a 5-star rating wasn’t high enough for Veronica. We are glad to hear that she was so pleased with her transmission rebuild experience at Ralph’s Transmission. Here is what else she had to say about our service:

“Every penny spent on my rebuild was worth it and I definitely will be back to have it maintained and serviced regularly…as well as recommend Ralph’s to everyone. You won’t be disappointed.” Veronica continues. “Thank you Mario and your team. My Mountaineer runs like brand new again! Even a free tow-in for a free diagnostic. CAN’T BEAT IT!”

Thank you Veronica for the kind words. If your car is having transmission problems, bring it in to Ralph’s Transmission for a free diagnostics check.
