SNAP-ON DIAGNOSTIC TRAINING SESSION SHARES TIPS AND IDEAS AT RALPH’S TRANSMISSION
Last Thursday evening, Ralph’s Transmission in Modesto, CA, hosted their first Snap-on Training Solutions© session. It was the first of several already lined up for the coming months. Everyone from the Ralph’s shop team was in attendance along with some mechanics and diagnosticians from other shops around town. The training session went well and everyone who attended gained some valuable new insight and information.
“Training is so important to us at Ralph’s Transmission,” says owner, Mario Jauregui. “The technology continues to evolve and the diagnostic tools offered by leading edge manufacturers like Snap-on are truly amazing. It was so great to have one of their representatives come in and provide a hands-on training session.”
The session was conducted by Snap-on Diagnostic Representative, Steven Ortiz. This first training event was more introductory in nature as he walked through some of the core features of diagnostic interface equipment. With more sessions planned in the future, the training will get more and more in-depth. The capabilities of scanners like the Verus, Modis and Solis models are excellent, so this first session just scratched the surface of what they can do to help transmission professionals maximize their results.
Of course, it was a fun get-together for everyone who attended. Mario brought in some tasty pizza, hot wings and soda from Mountain Mike’s. Everyone was able to munch on some food while learning things like data sharing, intermittent diagnosing, tool set-up and custom configuration, how to use the Shopstream-Connecttm PC interface and other special functions and shortcuts.
Mario and the Ralph’s Transmission team are looking forward to the next Snap-on Training Solutions© seminar on June 23. Another one is already scheduled for August 25, as well. Mario knows the better trained his team can be, the better they can serve their customers and continue to back their strong commitment to quality work.
