RALPH’S TRANSMISSION TEAM TO ATTEND 2016 ATRA POWERTRAIN EXPO

Ralph’s Transmission is a proud member of ATRA (Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association). Our transmission rebuild experts at the shop are all ATRA Certified, which means they have the specialized skills and knowledge to dismantle, repair and rebuild automatic transmissions for all vehicle makes and models. It’s what enables us to offer such a great 3 Year, 100,000 Mile Warranty on all transmission rebuilds performed at the Ralph’s Transmission shop located in downtown Modesto.

Every year, members of the Ralph’s Transmission team attend the year’s biggest event in the transmission rebuilding industry: ATRA’s Powertrain Expo. It’s something we always look forward to each fall. The conference will take place in Las Vegas, NV at the Paris Hotel & Casino from October 27 – 30, 2016.

The Powertrain Expo brings together transmission industry professionals, mechanics and manufacturers from all over the country to share ideas and network with one another. There are technical training seminars, including topics such as diagnostics, hybrid inverters, transmission fluid, MAF sensor tests and converter clutch control. There are also management seminars to cover a wide variety of issues affecting today’s transmission shop owners and customer service representatives. There are trade shows on Friday and Saturday, along with networking receptions each day. It should be another great ATRA conference.

A number of people from Ralph’s Transmission will be hitting the road to attend this great once-a-year event. Even though that means there’s a few days when a little less work gets done around the shop, it is worth it in the long run. The ideas and knowledge gained from industry conferences like this are so valuable for everyone on the Ralph’s Transmission team. Plus, it’s always a nice excuse to spend a few days in Vegas!
