RALPH’S TRANSMISSION HELPS RAISE OVER $10,000 FOR ST. JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL

Last Friday, the official raffle drawing was finally held for the 2007 Ford Mustang convertible that Ralph’s Transmission donated. The drawing was part of KAT Country 103’s radiothon to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

On Friday evening, members of the Ralph’s Transmission team took part in answering calls for the radio station as last-minute donations and sponsors came through with funds for the charity. Ultimately, the winning ticket was drawn. Drum roll, please….

Congratulations to Lisa Gomez, who won the car and came by our shop this week to pick it up!

In addition to the Grand Prize Mustang, Ralph’s Transmission also donated an acoustic guitar signed by Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line as Second Prize for the raffle. Congratulations to Edilberto Leon from Ceres for winning this collectible guitar!

When all was said and done, the raffle for these Ralph’s Transmission prizes earned $10,900.20. All of those proceeds went to St. Jude Children Research Hospital. We had other local organizations helping to sell the tickets and they were able to earn some funds of their own. It was a great event for everyone involved and we are already looking for another awesome car to donate for next year’s raffle.

We’d also like to thank KAT Country 103 for letting us get involved with this year’s fundraising efforts. They came out and hosted some remote broadcasts at our shop and other local businesses, which was a whole lot of fun. During their two-day radiothonKat Country 103 was able to raise $145,712 for St. Jude. That is truly incredible and we’re so grateful to have been a part of the experience. It has been a wonderful way to help give back to the Central Valley community and we can’t wait until next year’s event!
