The rear planetary gears had completely failed and led to additional internal damage to a variety of important transmission components, including the torque converter, shift solenoids, low roller clutch and manifold pressure switch—just to name a few of the damaged parts that needed to be replaced. We recommended a full custom transmission rebuild to replace any and all worn components. Our specialists rebuilt the transmission from the ground up to get it running like new again. Once it was reinstalled back in the van, it was road tested to ensure everything was working correctly.
